The application fee shown at checkout includes Event Pitch's 2% commission and the disclosed payment-processing amount. The whole application fee is retained if an organiser later refunds a trader; the organiser funds the trader refund.
When a pitch is paid
Organisers decide what each pitch costs. Event Pitch provides the application and connected payment flow, with fees taken when the transaction happens.

An accepted trader completes the pitch payment through Stripe Checkout.
Event Pitch commission and applicable Stripe processing fees are deducted from the payment.
Pricing questions
There is no Event Pitch account fee for traders. Individual events may charge for a pitch, and that price is set by the organiser.
There is no monthly subscription required to create your organiser profile and event listing. Transaction fees apply when you take a paid pitch booking through Event Pitch.
The Event Pitch commission is 2% of the pitch sale. Stripe processing fees are added and can vary by payment method and card type.
Yes. Organisers can create a pitch with a £0 price when no payment is required.
Refunds are the organiser’s responsibility. Organisers should set and communicate a clear cancellation and refund policy for their event.
